Alonso reveals 'retro-cool' Indy 500 helmet
– Fernando Alonso's helmet design for the Indianapolis 500 has been revealed.Alonso will attempt to race at this year's Indy 500, the 101st edition of the event, in an Andretti-run McLaren, powered by a Honda engine, in the process missing F1's Monaco Grand Prix.Alonso officially kicked off his preparations for the race with a visit to the Grand Prix of Alabama, along with a visit to Andretti's heaquarters, between the Bahrain and Russian Grands Prix.On Wednesday, he will complete his first on track running at Indianapolis, with help from regular team driver Marco Andretti, with a view to passing IndyCar's rookie orientation programme.A digital preview of Alonso's helmet was revealed...
