Brawn: I couldn't work with Bernie

Ross Brawn who, in the wake of Liberty Media's takeover of Formula 1, is now the sport's motorsport managing director admits that he would not be able to work with deposed F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone. Speaking to F1 Racing, Brawn said, 'I couldn't work with Bernie, but I never made that a condition.' The condition he refers to was not necessary as Liberty Media marginalised Ecclestone swiftly by offering him the toothless role of chairman emiritus. Brawn added, 'It would have been very entertaining to work with Bernie. It wasn't impossible, but Bernie has done things in his own way over the years, and very effectively.
