Romain Grosjean: “We had a few issues here and there”

Romain Grosjean was disappointed to have a disjointed day of testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on Wednesday as the Frenchman had his first taste of the Haas F1 Team VF-17. Having taken over from team-mate Kevin Magnussen who had driven the car on the opening two days, Grosjean was hopeful of a more productive day, completing just 56 laps of the Spanish circuit after a few niggling issues forced a few delays. Grosjean did feel that the cars were going to be more fun to drive, especially with the speed they can carry through the corners in 2017, but was downbeat not to complete the planned programme ahead of Thursday’s scheduled wet weather test. “It hasn’t been an easy day...
