ernie Ecclestone's 40-year reign as Formula 1's one and only ringmaster may have come to an end, but the legendary supremo will never be forgotten as the man who made the sport what it is today. "Bernie was a unique individual and kind of hand-built the sport," said McLaren chief Zak Brown after Ecclestone stepped down as F1 chief executive this week.
