Haryanto set to stay in Manor seat for Germany

Rio Haryanto is to stay with Manor Racing for this weekend’s German Grand Prix, sources have confirmed. As previously reported, the Indonesian’s deal was only for the first 10 races of the season, due to obvious commercial considerations. Haryanto was therefore never guaranteed to remain in his seat at Hockenheim, although logic suggested that he would be allowed an extra race prior to the summer break, given the time constraints and the logistical issues of bringing in a new driver at such short notice. The current arrangement is understood to be just for Hockenheim. In effect, Haryanto’s management and the Manor team now have the summer break to come up with a longer-term solution...
