An update for Honda
Honda will provide an upgraded power unit for McLaren at this weekend's Canadian Grand Prix. The Japanese manufacturer, which prior to the move had 14 tokens available, has not used a single token since the season got underway, has opted for what can only be described as a softly-softly approach to its upgrades insisting on introducing them tactically. Clearly, the power-hungry Circuit Gilles Villeneuve has caused it to make a move, consequently new turbochargers will be fitted to both McLarens this weekend. The upgrade coincides with the introduction of a new fuel from ExxonMobil which is expected to increase horsepower. However, it is understood the new turbocharger will not increase...
