Ferrari & Mercedes choose different Pirelli compounds for Bahrain

Bahrain Grand Prix – The released list of selected Pirelli compounds by the drivers reveal that the Mercedes & Ferrari men have chosen different approaches to this weekend's race. The new tyre rules for 2016 allow the drivers to choose some of their tyre compounds ahead of each event. The new rules also allow teams the opportunity to race all three available compounds during a race, should they choose to do so. The rule stating drivers must use two different compounds over the course of a race remains in place.
