Ryan encouraged by Haryanto progress

Manor Racing Manor's Racing Director Dave Ryan says he is encouraged by the progress made by rookie Rio Haryanto across the course of pre-season testing in Spain. Haryanto has stepped up to Formula 1 after spending four years in the GP2 Series, but suffered off-track excursions across the first week of testing, which partially impacted his programme. Haryanto completed two largely error-free days during the second test at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and Ryan is upbeat over the Indonesian's trajectory.
