Proposed qualifying format set for delay

– Formula 1 CEO Bernie Ecclestone says that the proposed new qualifying format will not be introduced until the Spanish Grand Prix due to delays in sorting the timing software.At last week's meeting of the Strategy Group and the F1 Commission, it was confirmed that a new style knockout format would be introduced, potentially for the start of the 2016 season.However, Ecclestone says that delays in readying the necessary software means the current system will be used for at least the opening four rounds of the season."The new qualifying format won't happen as we can't get everything together in time," Ecclestone told The Independent."It was going to come in at the start...
