Spotlight should be about ‘which driver is the fastest’ – Vettel

The complex rules that Formula 1 is introducing is putting at risk the fan base that makes the sport as popular as it is, according to quadruple champion Sebastian Vettel. Scuderia Ferrari’s Vettel believes the dominance of the Mercedes team over the past two seasons and the overemphasis on minute details are removing the excitement from Formula 1, and the spotlight should be brought back to which driver is the fastest.
