Toro Rosso STR11 passes crash tests

– Toro Rosso has confirmed that its 2016 challenger, the Ferrari-powered STR11, has passed the FIA's mandatory crash tests, clearing the team for pre-season testing.Several teams have already passed the compulsory hurdle, including returnees Renault, the renamed Manor outfit and newcomers Haas.Toro Rosso will continue to field Max Verstappen and Carlos Sainz Jr. in 2016, with the Spaniard set to give the STR11 its track debut at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on February 22.
