Force India rules out 2016 Aston Martin deal

– Force India Chief Operating Officer Otmar Szafnauer has ruled out a partnership with Aston Martin in time for the 2016 season, but maintains that a deal could happen in the future.Force India co-owner Vijay Mallya confirmed last year that discussions were ongoing with a manufacturer, amid reports that a tie up with Aston Martin could result in a name change and rebranding in time for the 2016 season.However, speaking at the Autosport Show on Thursday, Szafnauer says that while talks are ongoing, nothing will change before the start of the 2016 campaign."It was flattering to have the serious discussions with Aston Martin and it [would be] a big decision for them to enter the...
