Maldonado expects easier time with Renault power in 2016

Pastor Maldonado is expecting an easier time with Renault power this season, following a difficult year together in 2014 before Lotus switched to Mercedes power units. However with Renault completing its takeover of the Enstone team, it will dump its Mercedes engines in favour of the French manufacturer's questionable unit, which has been the subject of heavy criticism by customer team Red Bull. The Venezuelan is expecting far fewer struggles though and believes Renault will have made a lot of progress since his previous experience of their engine.
