Jaguar Land Rover Set to Announce Formula E Entry

The Jaguar badge looks set to make a return to racing as Jaguar Land Rover will announce their plans to compete in Formula E at a press conference next week. Sky News has reported that the firm, owned by Indian Group Tata Motors, will make the announcement on Tuesday and also plans to launch an electric car. Plans for an 11th Formula E team were rumoured in the summer but Jaguar flatly denied these rumours stating that the organisation had “no desire to go in to a motorsport programme at this stage”.
