Massa excluded from Brazilian GP for tyre infringement

Felipe Massa has been excluded from the Brazilian Grand Prix for a tyre infringement, losing his eighth place finish. His right-rear tyre was found to be higher than the maximum allowed temperature on the grid prior to the race at the Interlagos circuit. The infringement breaches Article 12.5.1 of the technical regulations, Article 3.2 of the sporting regulations and Article 12.1.1.i of the FIA international sporting code. After receiving a report from the FIA technical delegate, the stewards opted to exclude Massa from the final Brazilian GP result.
