Rosberg cruises to Brazilian GP victory

Mercedes AMG Petronas Nico Rosberg cruised to victory at the Brazilian Grand Prix, leading home a Mercedes 1-2 to secure the runner-up spot in the championship. Rosberg controlled proceedings throughout to comfortably beat Lewis Hamilton, while Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel collected third during a processional race. Rosberg maintained his advantage from pole position despite an effort from Hamilton around the outside of the Senna S, while Vettel slotted into third. Rosberg led Hamilton by a second across the opening stint but was slowed in his first pit stop due to the arrival of Vettel in the pits.
