Rosberg claims fifth consecutive pole in Brazil Nico Rosberg took pole position for Brazilian Grand Prix; Interlagos pole marks his fifth consecutive pole. Champion Lewis Hamilton beaten by less than a tenth of a second despite being quickest in both Q1 and Q2 . Rosberg set a fastest lap time of 1:11.282 to edge out Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton by just 0.078 seconds in the final stage of qualifying.
