Unwell Lewis will race in Brazil

An unwell Lewis Hamilton has delayed his flight to Brazil, but will still compete in this weekend's race Mercedes have said. The 2015 world champion pulled out of a sponsor's event in Sao Paulo leading to speculation that he would miss the Brazilian GP at Interlagos. However, the team insist Hamilton will be at the wheel of the all-conquering W06 this weekend and the Briton will fly to Brazil later on Wednesday, a day later than originally planned. "He's not going to miss the race," a Mercedes spokesman said. "He's going to be a day late... the doctor advised him to cancel the earlier flight so he missed a press conference today."
