Rosberg edges Hamilton in final Mexican GP practice

Nico Rosberg finished third and final practice for the Mexican Grand Prix at the top of the timesheets at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. The German driver moved to the front mid-way through the 60-minute session, before improving his benchmark down to a 1:21.083. Lewis Hamilton waited until the 30 minute mark to emerge from his garage and complete some serious running. He was quickest on the medium compound but went off on his first soft tyre run. He ran off track and had to pit with a flat-spot, before returning in the final minutes on fresh rubber. A late improvement meant he ended FP3 0.014 seconds behind Rosberg.
