Pirelli 'conservative' with Mexico choice

– Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli says it has been "conservative" with its tyre choice for the Mexican Grand Prix, based on the simulations it carried out ahead of the returning event.Mexico will end a 23-year absence from the Formula 1 calendar this weekend, with the paddock heading to the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez circuit, which has been heavily revised.Pirelli will supply its Soft and Medium tyres, used seven times this season."It's very exciting for us to come to Mexico, to a brand new circuit but one that is steeped in tradition at the same time," explained Pirelli Motorsport Director Paul Hembery."Nominating the compounds for a new track is not...
