Raikkonen laments ‘disappointing' qualifying

Japanese Grand Prix – Kimi Raikkonen was left frustrated with his efforts on Saturday as the Finn qualified in sixth place for tomorrow's race. The Ferrari driver looked competitive throughout qualifying, easily making his way through to the third and final session of qualifying. His first flying lap, however, was only good enough for sixth place, behind the two Mercedes drivers, both Williams cars and team-mate Sebastian Vettel. The red flag caused by Daniil Kvyat's crash mean't that no few improvements could be made as many waited until the final moments of qualifying to set a lap.
