Difficult day for Sauber as rain disrupts aero tests

While rain played havoc with the opening day of the 2015 Japanese Grand Prix the Sauber F1 team turned in a total of 43 laps over the two practice sessions. With Qualifying and Race day forecast for dry weather the teams were reluctant to spend too much time on track, Sauber had to abandon planned aero tests but did get some track time on wet and intermediate tyres. 'It was a difficult day because of the rainy weather conditions' admitted Marcus Ericsson. 'We did some running on intermediate as well as wet tyres, from which we collected some useful information.
