Lotus F1 team's legal case adjourned again

Lotus has been granted an adjournment in its latest court case with HMRC, as uncertainty continues to surround the future of the team. Renault is eyeing a potential takeover of the outfit to resurrect its works team, and it is understood the deal hinges on whether or not the French car manufacturer can earn increased commercial rights income from FOM. So far, its efforts to earn what are known as 'historical bonuses' have not been successful, and it is understood that until it can put in place the right financial package any move to buy Lotus will not progress.
