McLaren denies 2016 line-up claims

McLaren has denied claims that it is on the verge of announcing its 2016 driver line-up. According to reports in the Italian and Spanish media, Fernando Alonso will be partnered by vandoorne pphotlinkhighlight}Stoffel Vandoorne, the Belgian currently cruising to the GP2 title. The reports also claim that the line-up will be confirmed at the next race (Spa). However, when contacted by Pitpass, a spokesman for the Woking team insisted that the reports are incorrect. 'The reports are inaccurate,” the spokesman told us. “No driver announcement will be made at Spa.
