Ericsson pleased with unexpected point

Hungarian Grand Prix – Sauber's Marcus Ericsson claimed an against-the-odds tenth place finish at the Hungarian Grand Prix, despite the team's performance struggles throughout the weekend. Ericsson was upfront in admitting that he and the team were not expecting to score points at the Hungarian Grand Prix. However, despite struggling for pace throughout the weekend, a sub-standard qualifying and a 'poor start', the two Sauber drivers benefited from the mixed up race to take 10th and 11th places, with Ericsson finishing ahead of team-mate Felipe Nasr.
