Ricciardo: Toro Rosso pace has been a ‘wake up call'
British Grand Prix – Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo says that the comparative pace of junior team Toro Rosso has been a wake up call for the senior squad. Toro Rosso's competitiveness compared to Red Bull has been very similar throughout the 8 rounds of the season so far, even sometimes exceeding the pace of the RB11. After years of a wide gulf in performance between the two teams, Ricciardo says that Toro Rosso's design prowess is to be commended: 'It's been a wake up call for our team.
