Sauber appoints Mark Smith as new technical director

Sauber has announced Mark Smith is to become its new technical director as part of plans to bolster its technical committee. An experienced figure in the F1 paddock, Smith has held similar roles over the years with Jordan (2004-2005), Red Bull Racing (2005-2008), Force India (2010-2011) and Caterham (2011-2014).
