Alonso plots ways to compensate for top speed
Fernando Alonso says he will consider an alternative strategy during the Canadian Grand Prix as a way of compensating for the McLaren-Honda's lack of outright top speed. Following an overnight engine change, the Spaniard qualified 14th for the seventh round of the season, which will become 13th once Max Verstappen's penalty ahead comes into effect.
