Buemi lowers the benchmark – FP2 Report

With the conditions being only slightly warmer than the morning session, most of the drivers had the opportunity to build on what they had learned in the morning session with the conditions being comparable to FP1. All drivers were straight out of the pits as the session began, with the exception of Amlin Aguri driver Antonio Felix da Costa as his car was forced to have a change of battery. Whilst Karun Chandhok was the first runner to make a mistake, suffering another half-spin at the turn 1 hairpin, it was Loic Duval who brought out the red flags in the first six minutes of the session.
