Palmer: Track time crucial to prove worth

– Jolyon Palmer says racking up as much track time as possible this season is crucial if he is to prove that he deserves a full-time seat in Formula 1 next year.Palmer, the reigning GP2 champion, currently occupies a test and reserve role with Lotus, which has resulted in the Briton participating in practice and test sessions for the Enstone-based squad.Palmer, who topped testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on Wednesday, is set to receive 10 free practice sessions across the course of 2015 and it is these outings in the E23 Hybrid which he says are important for him to prove his value."It was important for me to be driving the car as much as possible in this role, I...
