Button trying to avoid last row ignominy

Jenson Button admits there is a possibility he and McLaren-Honda will be starting from the last row of the grid for the Australian Grand Prix after a troubled first day in Melbourne. The first proper test for the MP4-30 after a winter fraught with issues, more technical problems would surface in FP1 to limit Button to just six laps and though he went on to complete 21 laps in FP2, he was still 3.7secs off the overall pace.
