Magnussen takes blame for FP2 crash
Kevin Magnussen took full blame for his accident during second practice for the Australian Grand Prix. The McLaren driver lost the rear of his car under braking for Turn 6 and ended up crashing against the tyre barrier. As as result of the damage, the Dane was unable to continue driving and finished at the bottom of the times with just four laps covered. "There was nothing on the track. It was just me," said Magnussen of the accident. "I tried to push the braking and lost the rear on the entry, and it snapped in a difficult time and that's when I pointed the car towards the wall and couldn't hold it.
