Ferrari benefitting from Vettel-Alonso switch

Sebastian Vettel's arrival at Ferrari to replace Fernando Alonso is positive for the Maranello squad, according to former team boss Flavio Briatore. Alonso's departure from Ferrari, replaced by fellow former champion Vettel, was one of the highest-profile driver changes in the history of Formula One. According to Briatore, a guiding hand throughout the management of Alonso's career, it was simply the natural result of the Spaniard spending five years at Maranello without adding a third title to his tally.
