McLaren unveil new F1 car on January 29
McLaren will unveil their new car for Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso on January 29, the British Formula One team said on Friday. "The new era begins. Introducing the McLarenHonda MP430. Launching online 29 January 2015," McLaren tweeted. McLaren start a new cooperation with engine partners Honda after a long partnership with Mercedes. The former world champion Alonso, who joins from Ferrari, is also no newcomer as he competed for McLaren in 2007. McLaren won four straight world titles with Honda 1988-1991 from Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost, and the team hopes to return to the title fight this year after finishing a modest fifth in 2014.
