Fry and Tombazis leave Ferrari amid technical reshuffle

+ Ferrari has reshuffled its technical structure, with director of engineering Pat Fry and chief designer Nikolas Tombazis both leaving the team. The move comes as part of a shakeup instigated by newly appointed team principal Maurizio Arrivabene, in an effort to establish a ‘flatter structure’ at Ferrari. James Allison, who joined the Scuderia from Lotus late last year, will oversee track engineering activities, strengthening his position as technical director. Allison will be supported by chief designer Simone Resta and power unit director Mattia Binotto, with Binotto supported by chief power unit designer Lorenzo Sassi.
