McLaren to name drivers on Thursday

McLaren will finally announce their 2015 driver line-up on Thursday. They have spent weeks deciding whether Englishman Jenson Button, 34, or Dane Kevin Magnussen, 22, will partner double world champion Fernando Alonso. The team have now announced they will reveal their choice at a news conference at their Surrey factory. McLaren chairman Ron Dennis said at the final race of 2014 that the decision would be made on a 'clinical and emotionless analysis of the options'. Button, world champion in 2009, said at an awards ceremony on Sunday: 'It's a strange situation but sometimes in life you find yourself in these situations. You just have to deal with it.'
