Vergne penalised for forcing Grosjean off track

November 2nd, 2014 (F1Plus / Rosie Baillie) - Jean-Eric Vergne has received a five second post-race penalty for making contact with and forcing Romain Grosjean off track at the end of the US Grand Prix. The pair were scrapping over ninth place when Vergne made a move down the inside of Grosjean at Turn 1 which resulted in contact that damaged Grosjean’s front wing and floor. US Grand Prix stewards decided that Vergne was at fault and handed him a five second post-race penalty for forcing the Lotus driver...
