Alonso's possible F1 sabbatical central to silly season

With the Formula 1 silly season on the boil with speculation about Fernando Alonso's future rife, Porsche have made it known that they would like to enter a third car in the fabled Le Mans 24 hour race next year with Formula 1 superstars at the wheel.
A report in Auto Bild said Nico Hulkenberg, who signed a new deal to stay with Force India in 2015, is at the top of the German carmaker's shortlist and theoretically, Porsche's supposed plan is possible, given that the Formula 1 calendar is not scheduled to clash with the French endurance race next year.
