Marussia to run one car in Sochi

The Marussia F1 Team has confirmed that it will run one car in this weekend's Russian Grand Prix, out of respect for Jules Bianchi. The Frenchman remains in a critical condition in hospital after he crashed into a recovery vehicle at last weekend's Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka. The Banbury-based outfit have built a second car, which has been scrutineered and is ready to race, but it will remain on Bianchi's side of the garage for the weekend. 'The team have written to the Stewards of the Meeting to inform them that they have withdrawn their second car,' said Marussia in a statement released ahead of practice one.
