Kvyat admits to mixed feelings ahead of first home race
+ Daniil Kvyat admits he comes into his debut home race with mixed feelings following Jules Bianchi’s accident during the Japanese Grand Prix.
The Sochi Autodrom prepares to host the inaugural Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix this weekend, with the 20-year-old Kvyat the star-billing as the only Russian currently racing in the sport.
The rookie has impressed in his first season in F1 and found out last week in Japan that he will replace Sebastian Vettel at Red Bull Racing.
However, speaking during the FIA’s press conference ahead of the event, the Russian confessed that his attention this weekend would be somewhat be distracted in light of the events of last Sunday in Suzuka.
