No grip and power steering issue cost Bottas points

September 21st 2014 (F1Plus / Rosie Baillie) - Valtteri Bottas dropped back from sixth place to 11th in the final two laps of the Singapore Grand Prix. The Finnish driver had no grip in his tyres and was also battling a problem with his power steering which made it harder for him to manage his tyres. Bottas remained upbeat and said Williams could take lots of positives from a weekend at a track that doesn’t suit their car. “After the safety car we moved to a two-stop strategy and in the end the tyres just weren’t able to hold on,” said Bottas. “In the final lap I had a big lock up...
