Perez delighted with recovery drive to seventh

Sergio Perez was delighted to finish today's Singapore Grand Prix in seventh place after an eventful 60-lap race. The Mexican started from 15th and made up ground early on. He then collided with Adrian Sutil after the German driver squeezed him towards the wall, damaging his front wing. On the run to turn 10 it failed and went under his VJM07, causing the safety car to be deployed. Perez pitted for repairs and dropped down the order, before recovering to seventh by the chequered flag after completing some strong overtakes.
