Scrappy Singapore Qualifying for Marussia
The Marussia F1 Team saw its drivers Jules Bianchi and Max Chilton qualify nineteenth and twenty-first respectively for this weekend’s Singapore Grand Prix. Bianchi was almost a second faster than his British team-mate, but only four tenths of a second behind the Lotus of Pastor Maldonado. Chilton was only seven hundredths of a second adrift of Kamui Kobayashi’s Caterham in twentieth.
Bianchi admitted mistakes were made on his opening qualifying lap in Singapore, but was more than happy with his second flying lap that saw him qualify nineteenth. He is hopeful of keeping on the track during the race to enable him the best opportunity to take advantage of any misfortune the drivers ahead...
