Success has bred confidence within Williams – Bottas

Valtteri Bottas believes Williams’ turnaround in form this season owes a great deal to a better correlation between the factory and the updates being brought to the team’s 2014 car. The Finn, who picked up his first podium finish of his career in Austria two weeks ago, is adamant that the fact that the updates and developments brought to the FW36 this year have worked first time out, in direct contrast to last year, has been a massive confidence boost for both him and the Grove-based team. “That’s been a big difference over the year before,” he told RichlandF1 ahead of the British Grand Prix. “We have not been bringing any bad bits.
