WMSC confirms changes to F1 regulations for 2015

The World Motor Sport Council has confirmed the first raft of changes to be made to the sporting and technical regulations for the 2015 Formula 1 season. Most controversially, the green light has been given to standing restarts following a safety car period, while other minor amendments to the regulations have been ratified. The following changes have been made to the sporting regulations: The number of engines permitted by each driver in a season will be four. However, if there are more than 20 races in a season, the number will increase to five. The penalty for a complete change of Power Unit will be starting from the back of the grid, not the pit lane.
