Maldonado: Lotus losing time on the straights

Pastor Maldonado says he is losing a considerable amount of time on the straights at the Red Bull Ring, following the first two practice sessions of the Austrian Grand Prix weekend. The Venezuelan driver finished the practice one in 17th place, before setting the 15th fastest time on his super-soft tyre run in the second session. He is hoping Saturday will be a more positive day for the Enstone-based outfit. When asked if it had been a difficult Friday, he replied: 'Quite tough, especially from the engine point of view.
