Red Bull investigating Vettel's gearbox issue
Getty Images Enlarge Red Bull is investigating the gearbox issue that prevented Sebastian Vettel from setting a lap time during Q3 at the Spanish Grand Prix. Vettel made it as far as Turn 3 on his Q3 lap before his Red Bull came to a halt and he reported a loss of drive over the radio. The team believes it is a gearbox problem but has not yet deduced whether it will require a change and therefore a grid penalty. "It's a great shame that we didn't have Sebastian right there as well due to a gearbox issue that we're yet to fully understand, so we'll get the car back and see whether it's a software issue or a mechanical issue that's caused the problem," team principal Christian...
