Ricciardo tops the times at wet Shanghai
Daniel Ricciardo was fastest in the final practice session ahead of qualifying for the Chinese Grand Prix. The session was hit by rain, dissuading the fastest men of Friday to set a timed lap.
Following a number of attempts on full wets, intermediates became the standard tyre to use on this circuit that remained wet throughout the session. Apart from the spins one could expect during these conditions, namely by Bottas, Kobayashi, Chilton and Perez, Pastor Maldonado was told to stop with another technical issue on his Lotus E22. Results
