The history of F1 stats
The history of F1 is important to the fans, the drivers and the teams, so at the close of 2012, the Sky Sports F1 team decided to commit to a very ambitious task.Our goal, which sounded deceptively straightforward!, was to compile the results of every grand prix staged as a round of the World Championship.
However, we soon realised that the task was anything but straightforward.
Was compiling the results of every F1 race of all time a difficult, time-consuming and complicated task? To paraphrase Sebastian Vettel - 'Yes, yes and yes again.'
