Button: Losing Dad, it’s a stake through my heart 12 March, 2014 Jenson Button has for the first spoken in public about the anguish that he feels having lost his father John in January, and how the loss has torn at him yet at the same time shed fresh light on his father's generosity.
Speaking to the Daily Mail Button said of his father's passing, 'It’s a stake through my heart. It’s been a pretty strange couple of months. I would say horrific.'
